    The reduction chemistry of 10 was explored to see how it compared to that of 1. The reduction of 10 with KC8 in Et2O (CAS 60-29-7) under an atmosphere of N2 (CAS 7727-37-9) resulted in a color change from purple to brown (Scheme 5).
