  Some of the various chemical and electrochemical polymerisation sequences involving the difunctional monomer are represented diagrammatically (Fig. 1). The following examples demonstrate these procedures in detail. At the heart of each of these possibilities are the unusual properties of NPEDMA  which can be polymerized using free radical, chemical oxidative, and electrochemical polymerization methods.
