  A number of experimental techniques can be used for structural studies on heterogeneous catalysts. High-resolution solid-state NMR spectroscopy has become an indispensable method for the characterization of products and pathways of organometallic syntheses and catalysis. We used this method to confirm the reaction pathway shown in Scheme 3 and fully characterize product 3.
