These vegetables mainly include onion, water oat and cabbage.
The first kind of vegetable to resist osteoporosis is onion. It has been already known by people that onion can effectively enhance the human immunity and conduct sterilization. According to the medical research in Switzerland, onion can also play an important role in resisting calcium loss and preventing osteoporosis for postmenopausal women. Some famous magazines have also proved that onion is indeed a kind of vegetable to resist osteoporosis effectively. But, women should not eat onion too much. Onion contains volatile sulfur compounds, and excessive intake of onion can cause flatulence. Unshelled onions can be put in shady and cool places.
The second kind of vegetable to resist osteoporosis is water oat. There are usually many black spots on water oats. Many people never eat these black spots. They regard them as broken parts. In fact, these black spots are the real tools to resist osteoporosis. These black spots are fungi called "ustilago esculenta". They can effectively resist the aging of bones for people. However, water oats are cold vegetables and are not suitable for menstrual women or ill people to eat. In addition, water oats contain abundant oxalate. The patients with urolithiasis can not eat water oats.
Cabbage is another kind of vegetable to help women resist osteoporosis. Cabbage has rather high nutritional value. Vitamin K contained in cabbage plays an important role in improving the human metabolism and resisting osteoporosis. Except calcium, many other kinds of nutrients are also needed by the human body to conduct the metabolism of bones. Vitamin K is just one of them. Vitamin K can effectively improve the absorption of calcium and vitamin D. therefore, vitamin K is essential for people to prevent osteoporosis. When people buy cabbages in the market, they should buy the complete ones with some spots. Cabbages should be put in shady and cool places or stored in refrigerator-freezers.
In short, suitable vegetables are effective tools for women to resist osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is not so difficult for women to deal with. As long as women grasp the effective skills of resisting osteoporosis, they can treat osteoporosis quite well.
