A description is given of the results of ESR studies on X-irradiated single crystals of silver(I) nitrate-butanedinitrile(1/1), AgNO//3. NCCH//2CH//2CN. In the crystals, Ag**2** plus and NO//3**2** minus were primarily produced by X-irradiation at 77 K. The structures and spin densities in these two paramagnetic species were estimated. Electron transfers from Ag** plus to NO//3** minus by X-ray excitation and from NO//3**2** minus to Ag**2** plus by visible light excitation were established.
