  Next, we demonstrated that the method could be applied to dipeptides.  ^_L-phenylalanylglycine methyl ester was separately ^_L-Leucylglycine methyl ester and Lreacted with 2to give the corresponding N-pyrroloylpeptides 6a and 6b, respectively (Scheme 2).
