Polyol ester type

Polyol esters are a class of synthetic lubricants widely used in various industrial applications, including automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. These lubricants are derived from polyhydric alcohols (polyols) and organic acids. The structure of polyol esters allows them to exhibit excellent lubricity, thermal stability, and resistance to oxidation and hydrolysis compared to conventional mineral oils. Polyol ester lubricants are characterized by their ability to maintain viscosity stability over a wide temperature range, making them suitable for high-performance applications in both low and high-temperature environments. They also possess good compatibility with elastomers and plastics, which is advantageous in applications where materials compatibility is critical.
