  • Associated context:

    To a solution of 3 (1.3 g, 6.4 mmol) in chloroform (CAS 67-66-3) (20 mL) was added tert-butyloxycarbonyl anhydride  (1.67 g, 7.6 mmol) and Et3N (1.93 g, 19.5 mmol) (Scheme 2).  After 24 h, the reaction was quenched by NH4Cl (CAS 12125-02-9) solution. Organics were extracted by CH2Cl2 (CAS 75-09-2) and washed by additional  H2O (100 mLx2).
